How does a hurricane impact Texas Ecoregions?
A hurricane can cause severe damage to a region, not only Texas. With its strong winds, past hurricanes have set towns to be completely destroyed. In some cases, the rebuilding of the city would be needed. Plants cannot sustain the strong winds, and therefore, trees can fall over. These trees can definitely damage houses a lot. The heavy thunder storms that accompant it could even get into houses as flooding. The death of the trees could also cause the organisms dependent on the trees to die.
Some people flee areas of hurricanes when they are sure of a strong hurricane. Hurricanes will also cause a lot of deaths inside the house if hurrican is very strong, and outside the house even if you're just standing around.
